Dan Guenther
Author

The Vietnam trilogy of novels, China Wind, (Ivy, 1990), Dodge City Blues, (Redburn Press, 2007), and Townsend's Solitaire, (Redburn Press, 2008), tell the story of Sam Gatlin, a fictional Marine officer who serves in Vietnam, Thailand, and Laos. The fourth novel, Glossy Black Cockatoos, (Redburn Press, 2009), chronicles Sam Gatlin's experiences wandering through Australia and Southeast Asia after the Fall of Saigon in 1975.
